I’m blown away (and feeling very grateful) with so many of you sending me well wishes and healing prayers. The surgery went fine, although I didn’t expect the recovery to be as difficult.

I’m already feeling a lot better, although I am still taking it super easy and honoring the process – because healing doesn’t fit into schedules or our agendas.

We get to follow its pace with patience and kindness.

As I rested and allowed my body to heal last week, I got really still. There is a lot of comfort and a lot of answered prayers in that stillness – a lot of surrender, resilience, compassion, and joy.

And a lot of gratitude for every moment when we feel healthy, when we are able to run and skip and dance, breathe freely and deeply, think clearly and feel at peace.

Here is something funny: as I was getting prepped for the surgery, I was still sending out emails regarding the launch of my book (Un)Broken. I didn’t plan it that way LOL…

This book was supposed to come out months ago, and somehow it scheduled itself right now.

I have NO DOUBTS it’s because I needed to be reminded that we are never truly broken. Even when we feel awful – when our bodies hurt, or when our minds and hearts are burdened.

Underneath the pain, we are whole. For as long as there is hope we aren’t completely broken.

(Un)Broken talks about finding healing from emotional brokenness, fear, grief and loss… which sometimes can take a very, very long time.

I really hope this book will help inspire those who are hurting to be gentle with themselves… and allow healing to happen.

And I hope that it will also help those who often shake their heads and think, “She has everything, she should be happy,” to hold the judgment and be compassionate.

Here’s a video I made about the book (before the surgery)…

I’ll be personally signing every book that’s ordered through my web shop! (The book will ship on July 23)

Please get a copy, and if you like (un)Broken and its message of healing, help me spread the word about it! Share these links with your friends!
